PLEASE TAKE NOTICE:  Saturday March 25, 2023 will be the last day to pay "in-person" taxes.  Tax payments must be received via drop box (located at the Town Hall) or postmarked (mail) by March 31, 2023.   

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Town Board of Westville, New York will conduct a public hearing at 6:30 PM on April 10, 2023 at the Westville Town Hall, to consider Local Law #1 of 2023. This law is intended to address the tax reduction for Volunteer Fire Fighters.

A full copy of the law will be available in the Town Clerk’s office in order for the public to review it prior to the April 10, 2023 Public Hearing.

All Town residents and other interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and ask questions or offer suggestions for the proposed Law.

The Town of Westville will hold a public hearing on October 10, 2022, at 6:15PM at the Town of Westville, 936 County Rte. 19, Constable, NY 12926 to provide a summary of activities and progress of the Town of Westville Mobile Home Replacement Program (#1243MH104-20) and to provide an opportunity for public discussion and comments relevant to the program. The public hearing will include an overview of the program, the amount of CDBG funds awarded, the type of activity funded, and the progress towards beneficiary goals and program objectives. Comments on the CDBG program will be received at this time. REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

The Town of Westville is seeking proposals from Contractors who are currently in the business of providing landscaping maintenance services; services to commence March, 2023. Contractors submitting a proposal will be required to: Execute an Agreement with the Town of Westville; Maintain General Liability Insurance ($1,000,000 minimum); Workers Compensation Insurance ($500,000)(if applicable) and furnish proof of such insurance. The CDBG program is administered by the New York State Office of Community Renewal (OCR) and will make available to eligible local governments approximately $20 million for the 2021 program year for housing, economic development, public facilities, public infrastructure, and planning activities, with the principal purpose of benefitting low/moderate income persons. The hearing will provide further information about the CDBG program and will allow for citizen participation in the development of any proposed grant applications and/or to provide technical assistance to develop alternate proposals. Comments on the CDBG program or proposed project(s) will be received at this time.
